It is out of discussion the outstanding level of the big game in La Pampa.
The red deer trophy won by the Spanish hunter Rafael Malo in March 20, 2002 in La Pampa is the new Argentine and American record. According to the Spanish magazine “Jara and Sedal”, Rafael Malo’s trophy has the eighth place in the world. (Picture obtained from “Jara and Sedal” magazine).
Trophies with more than 180 points CIC are common to be won. The hunting season for red deer is from March to May during the mating period when the stag’s antlers are perfectly formed.
